Intro
I'm a 22-year-old graduate student currently studying computer
architecture. I live in Beijing, China.
Interests
I'm interested in all kind of open source development, especially
software on Macintosh and other UNIX platforms.
Typography is another interest of me, I devote part of my spare
time on improving the TeX typesetting system.
Projects
Projects I initiated:
- vim-cocoa
- A vim GUI implementation in Cocoa. Lightweight and fast.
- Mac Dictionary Kit
- A toolkit for Dictionary.app on Mac OS X Leopard.
- TextEdit/UCD
- Fix most of the text encoding issues of the original TextEdit.
- UCDText
- A Quick Look generator to preview plain text file in various encoding.
Projects I joined:
- MacVim
- Another vim GUI implementation in Cocoa by Björn Winkler.
- Nally
- A Mac OS X 10.5 only terminal emulator optimized for BBS.
- TeX Live
- The most widely used TeX distribution.
- XeTeX
- A Unicode-savvy TeX engine.
As you can see, I really like hacking around to make people's life easier.
